Every step was paradise.
This immersive trip through Japan was a highlight of all my travel experiences. From the highest point in Tokyo to the depths of the stormy island of Naoshima, the breath of Japan’s cultural and natural landscape echoes through my soul even today.
What began as a trip of leisure quickly grew into a lifelong passion for international immersion. I met locals (many of whom walk on four legs and meow), ate delicacies on a regular basis, and walked so much that the soles of my shoes disintegrated.
