My name is Ruby Moxley, and I am a creative thinker, storyteller, and artist. I was born and raised just outside of Chicago, but a soft spot for adventure brought me to the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in journalism and political science at the University of Oregon.
In school, you’ll find me taking courses that fuel my passion for humanitarian aid and learning effective media strategies that connect with new and emerging audiences.
Outside of the classroom, you’ll most likely find me embracing my inner adrenaline junkie outdoors, planning my next trip in a local café, or scrolling through fashion inspiration on Pinterest (big Pinterest user over here). I thrive on experiences rooted in cultural immersion, storytelling, and meeting new people. I live to see the beauty in everything and everyone I encounter, striving to tell stories that make people feel seen. There is enough hostility in our media — my quest is to tell stories of love and beauty in the world.
